Tennis Lessons are offered each summer starting in June for children ages 4-16 years old and adults. Learn the skills of tennis from a Four Seasons Tennis Pro with convenient times and locations. Fees range from $20 for Pee Wees (4-6 years) to $25 for adults.
Special Olympics Expo is an annual event held in August with Special Olympians participating in three noncompetitive events including tennis, softball, and volleyball. Lunch is provided and following the event will be an open swim for all the participants. Volunteers are needed for this special event.
Other programs include golf lessons, youth tee ball, youth flag football, youth soccer, the Hershey Track Meet, Placekick, Punt & Throw, Spot Shot Free Throw Shooting Contest, Breakfast with Santa, Daddy Daughter Date Night, and Parent's Night Out.

Lewis & Clark State Park
Onawa, IA
An old loop that was cut off when the river formed a new course years ago is now a 250-acre oxbow lake, Blue Lake. The state park holds an annual Lewis & Clark Festival every summer. Replicas of the Keelboat and pirogues used by the Corps of Discovery are docked at the lake. Trails, camping and swimming are also available.

Parent/Infant Swimming

Learn to Swim
Give your child the opportunity to learn this important life skill. Our lesson program emphasizes learning skills, having fun, and remaining safe around water. We follow American Red Cross guidelines for Levels 1 to 7. Ages 6-12 years. $30

Neighborhood Swim Team
This swim league provides an introduction to competitive swimming. Must be able to swim 25 yards. Practices held at your local pool and compete in 4 meets. Ages 6-14 years. $30

Pooch Paddle
Bring your dog out to the pools at the end of the summer to splash around and play with other dogs. These events take place after the pools have closed to the public and are open to man’s best friend. $5 per dog. All proceeds benefit the Lewis & Clark Dog Park in Bacon Creek, 5015 Correctionville Road.
Aug. 12th at Leeds Pool (3925 45th St.) from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Sept. 3rd at Riverside Pool (1301 Riverside Blvd.) from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
ADULT PROGRAMS
Adult Water Aerobics
Join the exercise “wave” of the summer! Splash your way to a physically fit life. An instructor will guide you through a water workout using a variety of activities. Classes are Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting in June through July in the evenings at Riverside Pool. The price for 11 classes is $25.
Adult Lap Swim
Lap Lanes will be available for lap swimming and water walking at the following times and locations. Admission is $1.50. Other swim lesson programs may take place at the same time. Pool lap swimming hours are as follows:
