Spring Collections Arts & Crafts Show
March 21-22, 2009
Find a wide array of spring decorating ideas at this annual show in the Sioux City Convention Center. Hours are Saturday 10am - 5pm and Sunday 11am - 4pm. Free parking and door prizes. Admission is $4 good for both days. Kids 12 and under are free.

Awesome Biker Nights
June 18-20, 2009
Events begin on Thursday night, and proceed into the weekend with a rally and bands along Historic 4th Street. Admission to all events and bands is $20.00 per person. Proceeds benefit local charity organizations.

Krewe de Charlie Sioux Mardi Gras Festivale
July 2, 2009
Mardi Gras party at the Sioux City Convention Center featuring astounding costumes - some 14 feet high -and a processional. The "Taste of Louisiana" authentic Cajun food prepared fresh by Louisiana chefs and available beginning at 5:00pm, prior to the 7:30pm show. FREE general admission seating; reserved table seating available by calling 712-279-4850.

The Big Parade
July 3, 2009
FREE Mardi Gras parade in Sioux City starting at Tyson Center, running down Fourth Street, and ending at the Sioux City Convention Center beginning at 7:00 pm with beads, bands, floats, and bouncey inflateables for kids for only $5.00 admission.
Live entertainment following the Parade, and fireworks at dusk.

Saturday in the Park
July 4, 2009
19th Annual at Grandview Park
FREE annual 4th of July weekend music festival with kids area, concessions and more. Shuttle service from Tyson Events Center parking lot.
Over 20 food vendors and multiple craft vendors will be in Arts Alley, plus fun for kids in the Kid's Zone. No coolers or pets are allowed.

River-Cade
July 15-19, 2009
The downtown parade kicks off the River-Cade summer festival, held the last full week of July. Residents and visitors participate in community wide sporting and entertainment events.
The core of activities take place in the Tyson Events Center parking lot.

Siouxland Freedom Fest
August 1, 2009
Freedom Fest is Siouxland’s annual Christian music festival held the first Saturday in August. This day-long event features local, regional, and national musicians performing a variety of Rock, Praise & Worship, Country, Gospel, and Contemporary Christian music. Admission is free.

ArtSplash
September 4-6 , 2009
Artsplash is a popular, annual arts festival held over Labor Day weekend. The outdoor festival is located just a few blocks from the Sioux City Art Center at the Anderson Dance Pavilion, on the bank of the Missouri River. The juried festival features a fabulous assortment of arts and crafts, wonderful family entertainment, and a variety of children's activities. Siouxland Lewis & Clark Marathon
October 17, 2009
This annual marathon begins at the Marina Inn at 7:30am. Register online or by mail. Reigstration deadlines are in early October.

Holiday Collections Craft Fair
November 21-22, 2009

Siouxland Home Show
February 26-March 1, 2009
This annual event brings a wide variety of home improvement products and services to the Sioux City Convention Center. Call 712-255-9730 for more information.
Tickets are $5.00. Kids under 12 are free. Thursday & Friday, 1pm-9pm; Saturday 11am-9pm; Sunday 12pm-5pm.
